“I love how this topic, that should be the net civil rights movement, is so scared of itself. Conservatives think that seeing the other side is a side of weakness, and liberals just think the other side is a racist ball of Christian Hicks. This country is so scared of losing that they’re both missing achieving the same damn goal.

 

Did everyone really think that on Jan 21^st everyone was gonna have a job, the war would be over, and cars would run on corn? C’mon man, you’re not doin’ anything to help the situation. Just cuz your friends are on unemployment and hanging out every night doesn’t mean that’s what you should do too.

 

Here’s the thing, both sides have good ideas about what they’ve seen and know. It wasn’t supposed to be easy by any means, but we’re never gonna get anywhere until we listen to each other. If not, then fuck it, we’ll all just die of swine flu.”
