Who is she? Actor, writer, book slinger, miniature enthusiast, insomniac.

This weekend, my mom and twinnie Hilary went to Santa Fe. Hilary went to talk to representatives about disability rights on behalf of the grassroots Disabilities Advocacy Organization so I invited myself along for the ride.

While Hil was busy doing important things and being all awesome, my mom and I wandered about Santa Fe. We ate lots of yummy food and walked around the Plaza. Here are some photos of the fun we had.

My mom and I stopped in at the St. Francis Cathedral Basilica which is where the candles picture is from. We lit a couple for family and friends. We also stopped in a the the gift shop and I got a book on saints and the cutest little something for Teeny Tiny Things Sunday (just wait till you see the cuteness)!
We also stopped in at the cutest little shop called Doodlets. And bought ALL the little things. I’m set for quite a few Teeny Tiny Things posts. Another shop we stopped at was called Koko Chile (how awesome of a name is that?) And I bought my mom this gorgeous necklace for her birthday/anniversary/teacher appreciation award. It’s twenty strands of “liquid silver.” So pretty!
When Hilary was done, my mom and I walked back to the roundhouse and into a huge crowd of union/teachers/supports for the Wisconsin peeps. It’s the first time I’d ever been in the midst of something like that. So exhilarating!
