Last weekend my family and I went to the Balloon Fiesta. My sister and I had never been to the mass ascension so we were super excited to go…even if we were up at 4am and only had like 3 hours of sleep!
They start off with the Dawn Patrol where the early bird balloon peeps fly out to check the weather conditions and such. They do a cool little flicker/burn where they light up like Christmas lights! So pretty!
My awesome sister Melanie took some great pictures of the Darth Vader balloon. If I was at all gif/cinemagraph savy I would make an awesome moving pic of it. Instead you will get an awesome Darth Vader stop motion short complete with music. Hehe…That will be my goal for the weekend. It will be awesome. Yup.
