I’m a woman living in the lovely Southwest. The Land of Enchantment to be exact. Home to the International Balloon Fiesta, the Roswell UFO Crash, Breaking Bad, and what have you.

Red or green? I enjoy green chile chicken enchiladas. I like red chile on fried eggs.

One of my favorite memories of childhood was sitting at the kitchen table with my 3 sisters laughing our little heads off at nothing and everything.

If you know what the word chopo* means, you’re probably from New Mexico.

Why do you have a blog?
Why don’t YOU have a blog? I don’t know, maybe you do. Do you?

I have a blog cause I really love documenting things. I’ve kept a journal since about the age of 11 and its so much fun going back and reading the happenings of the younger me. A blog felt like the next natural extension of that.

What are you doing with your life?
Well…I graduated with a BFA in Theatre in 2006. I spent 4 years playing make believe and it was the most fun ever!

After graduating and moving back home I worked as a substitute teacher, Starbucks barista, and movie extra. In 2008 I got certified through the state library and was a Youth Services Coordinator at a busy public library for almost 8 years. Currently, I work in an academic library. For almost 10 years now. Where does the time go?! Finally, I’m working on a BFA in Film Production and in the last few months of a year long creative writing journey called Behind the Bangs created by the lovely Chelsea Devantez and Jordan Moncada.

Any hopes, dreams, goals for the future?
I would love to make movies and do theatre with my sisters and friends. Creating and collaborating with the amazing artists in my life would be a dream come true. (and I’m FINALLY making it happen!)
