Who is she? Actor, writer, book slinger, miniature enthusiast, insomniac.

Eeeho! I’m supposed to take my Ambien in exactly one minute and here I am blogging! But I had two pictures to share with you and a fun little night I wanted to describe before I go to bed and lose this feeling of silly and fun and happiness.

Okay, so I met up with my totally awesome friend Mikey at Urban Outfitters and we came across this cuteness:

Which he described as “a mess of chairs.” Ha! So true! But I think it looks like a tiny little piece of WPA art on a college campus. And really…I think we’re both right. Or as my good friend Jamie just tweeted “very tiny wedding reception gone horribly awry…” I think she totally wins this round.

After perusing the tiny arts of Urban, we went next door to the lovely bar Two Fools (how great of a name is that? Almost as great at the Thirsty Scholar in NY). And had some grub and a beer. Gah, I love me a deep, dark beer. Mikey suggested one for me and of course I can’t remember the name. All I know is, I couldn’t see through it when I held it up to the light which made it per-fect!

As we sat there chatting, I felt very How I Met Your Mother (without the annoying Ted). What, with my boots and dark denim combo and my stylishly dressed friend (he’s always wearing some kind of awesome tie or sweater or vest or hat). Did I mention he’s a musician? Yeah. He’s awesome like that. He’s in the local Albuquerque band Of God and Science. Check them out stat. My favoritist song of theirs (so far) is Impossible You. So perfectly good.

After Two Fools we went back to Urban and wandered around a bit more and then the song “Two Weeks” by Grizzly Bear came on and we both did that thing where you hear a really great song and you kinda slow down a bit and marinate in the sounds surrounding your eardrums. And you ask yourself, “what is this music loveliness?” I noticed Mikey get out his blackberry and I asked him what song it was and he was trying to do the song identification app thing but couldn’t pick it up. And I exclaimed: “It was really loud in the purses section! Let’s go over there!” So we moseyed on over to the purses where we stood listening to this awesome song.

I may or may not have listened to it 353 times from that point till now. Maybe.

Okay, I’m like 40 minutes overdue for an Ambien so I better go and stop giggling about tiny chairs. Thanks for reading lovely, impossibly…you!
